Description of key information

Only if the exposure assessment (from CSA) indicates the need to investigate further degradation of the substance in future, the test is required. The substance is solely used as an intermediate in industrial chemical processes. Exposure of water and sediment to the substance is extremely unlikely since during manufacturing, formulation and industrial processes all wastes, including gas emissions, water and solid waste, are incinerated in approved incineration plants, as described in section 3.5. Thus, no further simulation tests in soil are necessary.
