Results with reference substance (positive control):
The sensitivity of the test species and correctness of test performance is periodically verified in six-month period by testing the reference substance, potassium dichromate.
The results of verification test with K2Cr2O7, carried out in period from 15.10. to 19.10. 2012, are the following:

48 hour – LC50 = 155 mg•L-1 (95% confidence limit: 126 – 184 mg•L-1)
96 hour – LC50 = 140 mg•L-1 (95% confidence limit: 90 – 190 mg•L-1)

Conclusions:
The acute fish toxicity of Formaldehyde, polymer with benzenamine, hydrogenated was determined using OECD Test Guideline No 203.
The value of LC50 (96 h) for fish (Poecilia reticulata) was determined to be 63 mg/l.
Executive summary:

The acute fish toxicity of Formaldehyde, polymer with benzenamine, hydrogenated was determined using OECD Test Guideline No 203. Test species was Poecilia reticulata. The nominal concentrations were used for all evaluations and results because evidence is available to demonstrate that the concentration of the test substance has been satisfactorily maintained within ± 20 per cent of the nominal or measured initial concentration throughout the test.

Test validity criteria were fulfilled. The value of LC50 (96h) for fish was determined to be 63 mg/l.
