No classification is required for 2,4,6 -tribromophenol concerning carcinogenicity as there is no available data that points to the contrary.
Additional information
As there is no epidemiological data which suggests there may be concern for 2,4,6 -tribromophenol, genetic toxicity proved overall negative and there was no neoplastic observations in the repeated dose toxicity studies, a carcinogenicity study is deemed unnecessary.
