Additional information

The test substance does not show a potential for autoflammability or for self-reaction. Furthermore, this substance is produced and used at the highest level in Europe, transported in ship from outside Europe at various temperature and stoking conditions. Evidences connected to the long experience in handling of the molecule confirm that no explosive properties have never been observed and reported up to now in the usual conditions of production, stock, transport and use. In conclusion substance can be considered non autoflammable, according to the CLP Regulation (EC) n. 1272/2008.

Moreover, five studies are available on Similar Substance 01 for studying the endpoint, only one was conducted according to internationally accepted guideline EU Method A.16. In these studies the self-ignition temperature of the Similar substance 01 was found to be 300 °C.
