Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this study, methylbutenol did neither adversely affect mating and fertility nor reproduction parameters of male and female rats up to the highest dose tested (200 mg/kg bw/day).
Executive summary:

Under the conditions of this study, methylbutenol did neither adversely affect mating and fertility nor reproduction parameters of male and female rats up to the highest dose tested (200 mg/kg bw/day). The pup viability was slightly reduced at the parental toxic dose of 200 mg/kg bw/day. No other adverse effects on the pups were noted in any of the doses tested. Thus, the no-observed-adverse effect level (NOAEL) for methylbutenol was 50 mg/kg bw/day for both, the parental generation and for the offspring.
