First-aid measures

- General advice:

Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing; avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing, do not breathe vapor or mist, immediately remove substance contaminated clothes and wash affected skin areas with soap and water, treat symptomatically.

- Following inhalation:

Move to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

- Following skin contact:

May irritate skin, wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes

- Following eye contact:

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

- Following ingestion:

Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. Call a physician immediately.

- Self-protection of the first aider: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Dry chemical, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Water spray, foam can be used as extinguishing media

- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

Not known

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Keep product and empty container away from heat and sources of ignition. Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating and toxic gases and vapors. Hazardous combustion products. Carbon monoxide. Nitrogen oxides (NOx). Hydrogen halides.

- Advice for fire fighter: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapor or mist. P233 - Keep container tightly closed.

- Environmental precautions:

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Prevent product from entering drains. Should not be released into the environment.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Retain washings as contaminated waste. Keep in suitable and closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wear personal protective clothing. Do not breathe dusts or mists.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Polyethylene containers.

: Stable under normal conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions

: None under normal processing.

Conditions to avoid

: Temperatures above 285°C.

Incompatible materials:

Strong oxidizing agents. Acids.

Hazardous decomposition products:  Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating and toxic gases and vapors, Hazardous combustion products, Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Hydrogen halides

Disposal considerations

Disposal Considerations: Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration. Do not discharge product into the aquatic environment without pretreatment (biological treatment plant) Dispose of in accordance with local regulations Can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations

Waste from residues/unused products:  Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration. Recover or recycle if possible otherwise: incineration with wet scrubbing facilities. Should not be released into the environment.

Contaminated packaging: Triple rinse containers, Treat rinsing as for product disposal, Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal
