Additional information

The ready biodegradability of Fatty acids, C8-10, oxybis(2-hydroxy-3,1-propanediyl) esters (CAS 92044-91-2) was investigated according to EU method C.4 D (equivalent to OECD 301 F). The study was conducted under aerobic conditions using domestic activated sludge as inoculum. During the incubation time of 28 days the degradation was followed by determining the O2 consumption. A degradation of 102 % was determined at test termination. The 10-day window criterion was met. Hence, Fatty acids, C8-10, oxybis(2-hydroxy-3,1-propanediyl) esters can be considered as readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
