Description of key information
Strong adsorption to organic matter is not expected based on the low experimental log Kow values measured for this substance (< 2.5).
In addition, in a screening approach, the soil sorption coefficients of the known main constituents of the registered substance were assessed via the QSAR KOCWIN v2.00 (US EPA EPISUITE). According to the MCI method results, the log Koc of 5 out of 6 assessed constituents was equal to 1 (Koc = 10 L/kg). This value was selected as representative of the registered substance for the chemical safety assessment.
