In accordance with REACH Chapter R.7A, this endpoint can be waived for ionisable substances with pKa greater than 10, as they will not tend to dissociate in water under normal environmental conditions. Propane-1-thiol has a pKa of 10 and therefore is not expected to dissociate in the environment. This SPARC online calculation is considered reliable and appropriate for use with this substance.
