Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results

Before the measurements the agglomerates of the test item were to crush carefully. Two test series of 3 measurements each were performed with the test item.

Test series 1:

D10: 25.9 μm

D50: 136.4 μm (Median diameter)

D90: 361.7 μm

Test series 2:

D10: 27.9 μm

D50: 139.5 μm (Median diameter)

D90: 362.5 μm

Average

D10: 26.9 μm

D50: 138.0 μm (Median diameter)

D90: 362.1 μm

Final Results

The test item has a median particle size of D50= 138.0 μm, which was determined by laser diffraction measurement.

Conclusions:
A median particle size of D50 = 138.0 μm was determined for the test substance according to ISO 13320 (Laser diffraction methods).

Description of key information

Median particle size (D50) = 138.0 μm (ISO 13320, laser diffraction method)
