Description of key information

According to a GLP- and guideline-conform Manometric Respirometry Test(EC method C.4-D and OECD 301F), the percentage degradation of test item Lumilux(R) Yellow CD 397 (N-[2-(4-oxo-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-2-yl)phenyl]naphthalene-2-sulphonamide) was determined to be 0% after 28 days for initial concentrations of 100 mg/L (ThOD = 224 mg/L) and 28 mg/L (ThOD = 63 mg/L), respectively. Since all degradation rates remained below 10% throughout the test, a 10-days window could not be calculated. In sum, the test item Lumilux(R) Yellow CD 397 (N-[2-(4-oxo-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-2-yl)phenyl]naphthalene-2-sulphonamide) must be considered as being not readily biodegradable.
