Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

Endpoint:
adsorption / desorption: screening
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the physicochemical properties of the substance indicate that it can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption
Justification for type of information:
The adsorption/desorption behavior of Potassium ferrocyanide is not necessary to perform as the substances can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption. In water, the substance will dissociate in the anion [Fe(CN)6]4− and the cation K+. The latter will/can adsorb to soil, but is also abundantly present in the environment, while the metal-cyanide anion will have a low potential to adsorb to soil due to its negative charge.
