First-aid measures

INHALATION :

Remove victim to fresh air. If cough or other respiratory symptoms develop, get medical attention. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.

EYE CONTACT :

Immediately flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT :

Wash material off the skin with copious amounts water and soap. If irritation develops, get medical attention.

INGESTION :

Give one or two glasses of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to unconscious or convulsing person. Call a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

GENRRAL HAZARD :

This material dose not ignite easily, but will burn if involved in a fire. Products of combustion includes irritating and poisonous gases.

Fine dust dispersed in air in sufficient concentrations and the presence of an ignition source, is potential dust explosion hazard.

FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT

Respiratory and eye protection required for fire-fighting personnel.

Full protective equipment(Bunker Gear) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) should be used for all indoor fires and any significant outdoor fires.

HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS : CO, CO2, NOx

Accidental release measures

Collect spilled material in appropriate container for disposal. Keep out of water supplies and sewers. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard area and deny entry.

Handling and storage

Avoid skin and eye contact, and avoid breathing dust. Keep container closed. Store in a cool and ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

ENGINEERING CONTROLS :

The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended to control emissions near the source.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION :

When respiratory protection is required for certain operations, use a NIOSH/MSHA approved dust-purifying respirator.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING :

Wear impervious protective clothing including boots, gloves, apron or coveralls to prevent skin contact.

EYE PROTECTION :

Use chemical safety goggles or full-facepiece respirator and face shield.

OTHER PROTECTIVE DEVICES :

Safety shower and eye wash station near work area.

Stability and reactivity

GENERAL : Stable under normal conditions.

INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS AND CONDITIONS TO AVOID : Avoid heat, flames, sparks and other sources of ignition.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS : Oxides of carbon and nitrogen

HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION : Will not occur

Disposal considerations

Whatever cannot be saved for recovery may be burned in an approved incinerator or disposed in approved waste facility. Ensure compliance with local,

state and federal regulations.
