Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

It was considered that the test item would be essentially stable towards hydrolysis (half-life greater than 1 year at 25°C) at pH 4, 7 and 9.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Hydrolysis as a Function of pH. Due to the complex nature of the test item, it was considered that determination of the hydrolytic stability according to Method C7 Hydrolysis as a Function of pH of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 111 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 13 April 2004 was not feasible.

A scientific assessment of the two, main constituents (typically 83 %) of the test item indicated that both of these components contained at least one potentially hydrolysable functional group. The hydrolytic stability of these potentially hydrolysable, main constituents was estimated using thespecialist estimation software, HYDROWIN v2.00 (September 2010), © 2000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Overall, it was considered that the test item would be essentially stable towards hydrolysis (half-life greater than 1 year at 25°C) at pH 4, 7 and 9.
