Lowest test temperature:

349 °C

Summary of results:

Parameter

Value

Lowest value of test series 1:

346 °C

Lowest value of test series 2:

349 °C

Lowest value of test series 3:

349 °C

Lowest value of all test series:

346 °C

Absolute deviation of the lowest value (1.5%):

5.2 °C

Auto-ignition temperature:

341 °C

According to DIN EN 14522 the lowest value of all test series (346 °C) was reduced by the deviation value based on the precision of the method (rel. 1.5% = 5.2 °C). The resulting value was rounded to the next integral number (341 °C).

Conclusions:
An auto-flammability temperature of 341°C at 955-974 hPa was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with ISO 9001:2008.

Description of key information

Auto-flammability 341°C at 955-974 hPa (EU Method A.15)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A measured auto-ignition temperature of 341°C at 955 -974 hPa was determined for L6 in accordance with EU Method A.15 and in compliance with a known quality system (ISO 9001:2008). The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.
