Description of key information

There is no data available to evaluate the carcinogenicity potential of dodecane-1-thiol. However, based on the available in vitro and in vivo genetic toxicity and repeat dose toxicity data, dodecane-1-thiol is not a mutagen and does not have the potential to induce hyperplasia or pre-neoplastic lesions.
