Conclusions:
This parameter/method is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding potential additional fire hazard.
No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was measured under GLP according to BS 4056 standard (listed in EU A.15 guideline). Test substance was injected into a heated flask, and the lowest flask temperature at which ignition occurred was taken as the auto-ignition temperature.

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance has been determined to be 374 °C.

Description of key information

No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
374 °C

Additional information

A fully reliable GLP experimental study, conducted according to a recognized EU/BS method, is available. Therefore, it is considered as a key study, and the result is retained as key data.

This parameter is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding process safety and potential additional fire hazard.
