Irritant / corrosive response data:
One hour after dosing a slight cornea opacity and redness and slight to marked chemosis was observed. 24 hours after dosing slight chemosis and redness and slight to marked corneal opacity was observed in animal 1. In animal 2, marked redness was observed. All effects were reversible after 8 days except corneal opacity of rabbit 1, which was considerd to be slight. In addition, a greasy secretion from the eye was noted 1 hour after dosing in both animals and after 24 hours in animal 2.
