Additional information

PNEC values for the aquatic compartment have been derived using a combination of short-term toxicity data for the test substance and long-term data for structurally related substances (see IUCLID section 13 for read-across document).

Based on the properties no adsorption of EDTA-FeK onto the sediment and soil has to be expected.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the fact that EC50/LC50 values for the substance are >100 mg/L and chronic values are > 10 mg/L no classification as hazardous to the aquatic environment is required. Terrestrial data confirm low toxicity for the environment.
