Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The LD50 of the read across substance quinine for mouse is 68 mg/kg bw.
Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of the read across substance quinine was tested via an intravenous injection. From this study it is shown that the LD50, tested on mouse is 68 mg/kg bw. It is considered as harmful according to EU criteria. Therefore, we conclude that totaquina, which consists of 75% quinine, is harmful.
