Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item GARDO TP 10451 was investigated for the determination of the melting/freezing point. A defined melting/freezing point could not be determined due to glass transition, exothermic reaction and decomposition.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

For the determination of the melting point /freezing point the sample was investigated over a temperature range of -130 °C to + 500 °C and at a heating rate of 10 K/m.

A defined melting point was not determined. The glass transition temperature of -53 °C indicated an amorphous behaviour of the sample. An exotherm reaction occurred at + 168 °C followed by decomposition.
