The results obtained by acute toxicity testing to aquatic organisms are as follows: in Daphnia magna an EC50(48 h) of 142 mg/L was determined, the LC50(96 h) detected in fish (Pimephales promelas) ranged between 100 - 215 mg/L and in algae an EC50 > 100 mg/L was detected.

The PNEC calculations are based on the results of the acute toxicity test performed with algae (Desmodesmus subspicatus) as the most sensitive organism.The PNEC STP was calculated using the EC10 of 19.9 mg/L determined in a cell growth inhibition test onPseudomonas putida.
