Additional information

Acute and chronic tests have been performed for fish, invertebrates and algae. Acute toxicity LC50(96h) for fish is 640 mg/l. Results for 48h Daphnia Magna EC50 is 16.7 mg/l and for algae 72 h EC50 is 645 mg/l.

Chronic toxicity to Daphnia Magna in a 21-day reproduction test was 0.16 mg/l, 72 h NOEC for algae 3.2 mg/l and NOEC in a 28-day early life stage test on fish was >10 mg/l.

Both in acute and long-term tests on aquatic organisms, Daphnia Magna were found to be the most sensitive species. The NOEC from the 21-day Daphnia Magna study is used for deriving the PNEC aquatic.
