Additional information

The test substance is a brown-black powder. The melting point was determined to be higher than >300°C and the boiling point to be > 237°C, therefore the flash point could be waived. The density at 22°C is 1750 kg/m3 with a mass median diameter of 151 µm and a vapour pressure of <2x10e-9 at 20°C and <4.0x10e-9 at 25°C. The calculated partition coefficient between n-octanol and aqueous phase is: log Pow: -11.6. The water solubility of the test substance is >54 g/L at 20°C and the surface tension of aqueous solution at 20°C lies between 63.6 - 64.2 mN/m. No auto flammability was observed between room temperature and 400°C and the test substance it is not highly flammable. The test substance is not explosive, has no oxidizing properties, is thermally stable, but dissociates in water. Classification of test substance is not needed according to the Directive 67/584/EEC and according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
