First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation
develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. If irritation develops, seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and some
soot.

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and gloves should be
worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1.
Absorb spill with a suitable absorbent material and dispose
of by incineration. Prevent run off into water courses or
drains. Wash area with water/detergent and absorb washings
with suitable media for incineration. Wash contaminated
clothing before re-use.
Handling and storage
Handling: The usual precautions for handling organic chemicals should
be taken. Protective clothing and rubber gloves should be
worn.
Storage: Store in sealed containers away from foodstuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Substance packed in 5 or 25kg plastic lined metal drums.
