Additional information

For potassium sulphate a key study showed a 96 hour LC50 of 680 mg/L in fathead minnow fish performed according to EPA guidelines. Fathead minnows fish were fed once during experiment after 48 hours exposure. Feeding may have affected the outcome of the test, but potassium sulphate is still expected to have an 96h LC50 >> 100 mg/l. Analytical monitoring was performed. A supporting but old less documented study showed a much higher LC50 in Lepomis macrochirus.
