Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is water soluble (the test item has been determined to be miscible with water in all proportions at 20.0 ± 0.5ºC), has avery low octanol/water partition coefficient (log10Pow <-4.23), an adsorption coefficient of log Koc <1.25 and a maximum recorded vapour pressure of 1 Pa at 25°C.

This suggests that when released via waste water to the aquatic environment, either freshwater or marine, the substance will remain in the water compartment due to the water solubility and very low partition coefficient. The log Koc indicates the substance has low potential for adsorbing to soils or sediments. The combination of a low vapour pressure and high water solubility indicates that the substance is unlikelyto volatise from water so release to the atmosphere will be insignificant.
