Description of key information

The flash point of the test material from 5 different batches is 112 - 152 °C at 760 mmHg.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
112 °C

Additional information

The test substance from 5 batches was tested for flash point as part of QC process.

For batch 2, 4 and 5, the flash point at 760 mmHg was determined by ASTM D93/ISO2719 standard test method, procedure A, and was followed by using Pensky-Martens Close Cup (PMCC) Tester.

For batch 1 and 3, the test items were placed in a cup exposed to the ambient air, a procedure referred to as the Cleveland Open Cup (COC) method. The lowest temperature at which the vapour formed above a pool of the liquid ignites in air at 760 mmHg was recorded.
