The results of the biodegradation screening study (OECD 301B) conducted with propane-1,2,3 triyl 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoate (CAS No. 56554-53-1) show that this substance reached the trigger value of 60% biodegradation in 28 days, but the 10-day window criterion was not met. The results indicate that propane-1,2,3 triyl 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoate is biodegradable, but cannot be considered as readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
