Overall these studies provide no evidence that 1,2-dichloropropane selectively targets the male or female reproductive systems or the developing embryo/fetus.

 

Lowest NOAEL values :

70 mg/kg bw/day for fertility

150 mg/kg bw for teratogenicity

 

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the results of the reported studies and taking into account the literature, 1,2-dichloropropane does not meet the classification criteria as toxic for reproduction.
