Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

In the acute immobilization test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS) the effects of the submission substance was determined according to OECD 202 (2004) under GLP conditions (RL 1). The study was conducted under static conditions over a period of 48 h with 5 nominal test item concentrations ranging from 1.25 to 20.0 mg/L. The test concentrations were verified by analytically. The validity criteria of the test guideline were fulfilled.

Based on the nominal concentrations of the test item the 48 -h EC50 for Daphnia magna was estimated to be 2.18 mg/L (95 % confidence limits: 1.92 - 2.47 mg/L).

In two further toxicity tests with Daphnia magna reported in the EU Risk Assessment Report, EC 50 (48 h) values of 6.8 mg/L and 22.5 mg/L were obtained, respectively.
