Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The adsorption/desorption of the test substance was assessed according to EU Method C.19. It was determined to be 18.9, and the log Koc 1.28.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
18.9

Additional information

Using the HPLC screening method, method C19 of the Commission Directive 2001/59/EEC an adsorption coefficient (Koc) has been determined to be 18.9 (resp. log Kow 1.28). The method guideline states that the measurement shout be carried out on substances in their ionized and unionized forms. To fulfill this criteria testing would be required at approximately pH 15 or above. Therefore, as pH 15 is outside the environmental pH, testing was carried out at approximately neutral pH with material in unionized form.

The adsorption coefficient (Koc ) of the test material has been determined to be 18.9, and the log Koc 1.28.
