Description of key information

The test substance is partly or moderately biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The biodegradability of the test substance was investigated in a GLP CO2 -Headspace-Test (ISO 14593). After 28 days a biodegradation rate < 10% was measured. Therefore, the test substance was poorly biodegradable under the conditions of this test.

In a second test Dihydrodicyclopentadienylacrylate was partly or moderately biodegradable under the conditions of this test 50-60 %CO2/ThCO2 after an exposure period of 60 days (CO2 -Evolution Test under enhanced test conditions OECD 301 B).
