Available data on exotoxicity of the submission substance to aquatic organisms are restricted to sewage treatment plant microorganisms and freshwater fish. For both organism groups reliable studies were available, the study on fish (danio rerio) is corroborated by a database entry reporting a similar limit concentration. Consitently, neither with fish nor with activated sludge microorganisms could be any toxicity of the submission substance observed up to the highest tested concentration:

LC50 (Danio rerio, 48 and 96 h) > 473 mg/L (mean measured, corresponding to a nominal concentration of 500 mg/L);

EC50 (activated sludge mircroorganisms, 3h) > 730 mg/L (corresponding to 1000 mg/L test material containing 73% submission substance);
