Description of key information

According to the key ready biodegradability test (EU Method C.4-E with GLP compliance; Phytosafe, 2013), the registered substance attained a mean of 86.56% biodegradation after 21 days of incubation and satisfied the 10-day window validation criterion. Therefore, the registered substance is readily biodegradable.

Another biodegradation study is available (HOPE, 2014), assessed as a supporting study, and performed on the registered substance. In this study, a mean of 73.5% biodegradation after 28 days was observed within the 14-day window. This study support the conclusion of a ready biodegradability of the registered substance.
