Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Data are read across to hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <5% n-hexane. The minimum auto flammability temperature for hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <5% n-hexane is 200 °C.

Additional information

Data are read across to hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <5% n-hexane. All possible grades within this substance description have an auto flammability value higher than 200 °C. In a study by Total Fluides (2010), a minimum auto inflammability temperature of 325°C was determined for the test substance, hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, > 5% n-hexane demonstrating that measured values fall within these borderline values.
