Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 615 h
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In a GLP-compliant study according to OECD guideline 111, hydrolysis of the test substance was tested at varying temperatures and as a function of pH (CG, 1987).

Based on the results obtained at the various experimental temperatures (50, 60 and 70 °C) at a set pH (pH 4, 6 and 9), half-life periods of the test substance at 25 °C were calculated to be 36.6 hours at pH 4, hours at pH 7 and 1650 hours at pH 9. In a preliminary test it was already determined that the test substance is stable towards hydrolyis at 50 °C at pH 7. Based on these data the substance is considered to be hydrolytically stable.
