non explosive

Additional information

The formula of the substance does not contain relevant structural groups associated with explosive or self-reactive properties.

As supporting data, a publication on uses and a DSC analysis provide evidence of stability (with regard to exothermic decomposition) up to 1000°C and 1400°C respectively.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the chemical structure and the absence of exothermic reaction, the substance fulfills Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) criteria for the screening procedure, therefore the classification procedure shall not apply. The substance is considered as not classified for explosivity and self-reactivity hazard categories.
