Conclusion on classification

The effect concentrations of chronic tests (NOEC) for daphnia and fish in studies on structural analogous read-across substances were all above the limit of water solubility. A short-term test on fish and long-term tests on algae on structural analogous read-across substances showed no toxicity.

Based on the available data ditin trisulfide is not classified as hazardous to environment according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) and no PNECs are required.
