Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Surface tension is 70.7 mN/m: not a surface active substance.
Executive summary:

The determination of the surface tension of an aqueous solution of Red 6339 was based on the OECD Guideline No. 115: "Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions" (1995) and on the EEC Directive 92/69, Part A, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A.5 "Surface tension", EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992.

In conclusion, the surface tension in water (conc 0.1 %) is 70.7 mN/m at 20.1 °C ± 0.1 °C.

Based on the criteria as outlined in the OECD Guideline, is not a surface active substance.
