If the patient is unconscious, must be turned and kept on his/her side during transportation.

Inhalation
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
If appropriate, give artificial respiration or oxygen.
Inhale or give immediate treatment using corticosteroids dosing spray.
Get medical advice/attention.
Symptoms can be delayed.

Skin contact
Rinse continuously with water for several minutes.
Sterile bandage.
Get medical advice/attention.

Eye contact
IF IN EYES: Rinse continuously with water for several minutes. Get medical advice/attention.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Get immediate medical advice/attention.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray
Carbon dioxide
Alcohol resistant foam
Dry Chemical

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use powerful water injection.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
May emit toxic fumes of oxides of carbon and nitrogen during heating or fire.
May emit toxic fumes of ammonia during heating.
Vapour may form explosive mixtures with air.

Advice for fire-fighters
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Isolating breathing apparatus eg. compressed breathing apparatus and protective clothing.

Other instructions
Cool fire exposed containers with water jet.
Extinguishing water must not be discharged into waterways, sewers, soil.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Use personal protective equipment as required.

Environmental precautions
Absorb with inert material (eg sand, silica gel, acid sorbent, universal sorbent).
Do not put into water system, drain or soil.
Collect up into tightly sealable containers for disposal.
Vapours can be bound e.g. with water spray.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Neutralize with hydrochloric or sulfuric acids.
Disposal: see 'Disposal considerations'.
