Description of key information

Two key studies and three supporting studies showed that the nominal LC50 value is clearly above 100 mg ai /L. In one key study a NOEC of 100 mg ai /L is reported, in the second key study a NOEC of 1500 mg/L is reported. This is supported by the results of the two supporting studies. In these studies NOEC values of 500 and 1000 mg/L was shown.
All these values are above the measured water solubility. Due to the testing substance is a surfactant, the critical micelle concentration (CMC) was chosen for the determination of the water solubility. CMC which is taken as solubility limit is 53.3 +/- 3 mg/L at 20°C.

NOEC is above the water solubility.
