Below glass transition, the test item showed weight losses smaller than those of the reference substance Naphthalene. From this it was concluded that vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C (25°C) is lower than the vapour pressure of Naphthalene at 20°C (25°C). Vapour pressures at 25°C and 20°C are determined to be <12 Pa and < 7.6 Pa, resp.

Above glass transition, the test item showed weight losses smaller than those of the reference substance Chrysene. From this it was concluded that vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C (25°C) is lower than the vapour pressure of Chrysene at 20°C (25°C). Vapour pressures at 25°C and 20°C are determined to be < 2.0E-06 Pa and < 8.4E-07 Pa, resp.

KEY RESULT

As the temperatures 20 and 25°C are both below the glass transition of the substance, the resuls obtained from the measurements below glass transition were considered most representative for the vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C or 25°C.
