Investigations in available studies cover soil microflora, earthworm, bees and birds. The substance shows no adverse effect on nitrogen turnover or respiration of the soil microflora. Furthermore, the substance has no acute toxic effect on earthworms resulting in death or intoxication symptoms, however, the NOEC to the weight of earthworms was found to be 560 mg/kg soil dw.

In two studies with honeybees investigating contact and oral toxicity, the contact toxicity study yielded the lower LD50 value of 100.7 µg/bee.

Finally, for birds, the LD50 was shown to be greater than 1675 mg/kg bw and the NOEC to reproduction to be 22.4 mg/kg bw.
