Short-term toxicity to aquatic algae:

ErL50 (72 h) = 86 mg/L for Raphidocelis subcapitata (nominal, WAF loading rate, OECD 201)

Long-term toxicity to aquatic algae:

ErL10 (72 h) = 40 mg/L for Raphidocelis subcapitata (nominal, WAF loading rate, OECD 201)

Additional information

Studies investigating the aquatic toxicity of the registered UVCB test substance are available for two trophic levels (aquatic invertebrates and algae). The available tests on the acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates revealed an EL50 (48 h) of 4.1 mg/L for Daphnia magna (nominal, WAF loading rate, OECD 202). An ErL50 (72 h) of 86 mg/L, as well as an ErL10 (72 h) of 40 mg/L was determined for Raphidocelis subcapitata in a study investigating the toxicity to algae (nominal, WAF loading rate, OECD 201).
