Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Executive summary:

In the DSC-measurement the energy of the exothermic decomposition of the test item D III was >800 J/g. Therefore, further tests for explosive properties had to be performed.

In the test on explosive properties according to UN Transport Regulation, Test series 2, the test item showed no explosive properties.

According to the results of the test on thermal stability and explosive properties, the test item is classified as following:

UN Transport Regulation: The test item does not have to be classified as explosive substance in class 1 according to the UN Transport Regulation.

GHS (CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008: Annex 1: 2.1): The test item does not have to be classified as explosive substance according to GHS or CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 Annex 1: 2.1, respectively.

For information only:

Regulation EC 440/2008 and Directive 67/548/EEC: The test item has no explosive properties according to the Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.14. Explosive Properties

Description of key information

The following tests were conducted:

- UN Test series 3: BAM Fallhammer method

- UN Test series 3: BAM friction methode

- UN Test series 1 and 2: Koenen test

- UN Test series 1 and 2: Time-pressure-test

- UN Test series F.3 Trauzl test

All tests gave a negative result Thus the substance can be stated as non explosive

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive
