Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Justification for type of information:
From the structural formula of GR-50-1408, it can be concluded that the substance is not an oxidising substance. The substance does not have the functional groups associated with oxidising properties. The oxygen present in the mole-cule is linked to carbon and hydrogen atoms only.
Thus it can be concluded beyond reasonable doubt that GR-50-1408 is incapable of causing fire or enhance the risk of fire when in contact with a combustible material. As such further testing is not needed.
Specific details on test material used for the study:
GR-50-1408 is the Givaudan identification code which was employed for ROSYFOLIA during the early, developmental and testing period.
Conclusions:
From the structural formula of GR-50-1408, it can be concluded that the substance is not an oxidising substance. The substance does not have the functional groups associated with oxidising properties. The oxygen present in the mole-cule is linked to carbon and hydrogen atoms only.
