Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption to solid soil phase is expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In an expert statement by RCC (2000c) considering different calculation methods a Koc of > 23740 was determined for calculations based on water solubility. The Koc was 324638 if the calculation was based on the experimentally determined log Pow of 7.6. The experst statement is supported by QSAR calulations using EPISuite KOCWIN v2.00. The calulation method using the calculated logPow as well as the MCI calculation method show that adsorption to the solid soil phase is expected since for both QSAR calculations the logKoc was determined to be > 3. The test substance is within the applicabiliy domain for both calculation methods and, therefore, the logKoc values are regarded as valid.
