Remarks:
no fragmentation observed
Remarks on result:
other: no fragmentation observed

RESULTS

(a) Thermal sensitivity (effect of flame): No fragmentation of the steel tube occurred in any of the six tests. For complete dataseeTable 19. Fruitate was found to not explode under the effect of flame (limiting diameter c 1.5mm).

(b) Mechanical sensitivity (shock): Fruitate did not explode or burst into flames in any of the six tests. The test compound was therefore found. to be not sensitive to shock (sensitivity

>50 Nm).

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The test item is not explosive

Description of key information
