Key result
Boiling pt.:
> 400 °C
Atm. press.:
98 kPa
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
>= 275 °C

Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min and starting at 270°C the sample melted and bubbles started forming in the liquid phase. The sample started to discolour at 275°C and finally turn into black at 290 °C.

No boiling point was observed up to 400 °C.

Description of key information

Decomposes above approximately 270°C. No boiling point observed up to 400 °C (OECD 103, EU A.2)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa: No boiling point observed up to 400 °C.
